People come to coaching for many reasons. Sometimes they are referred by their employer, sometimes a set of coaching sessions is a gift from a friend and, most often, people come to coaching for support to achieve a particular outcome. By working with a coach you can identify the invisible blocks that limit your performance and stop you reaching your potential.
I provide personal coaching in two main areas:
Coaching to Achieve Your Goals
|
Coaching for Your Future
|
For teams involved in a process of change I deliver bespoke
team coaching programmes.
To support managers and leaders to focus on what matters and eliminate the negative I provide executive
coaching.
For deeper issues or recurring patterns I provide confidential, supportive
counselling and positive psychotherapy.
There tends to be as many definitions of coaching as there are coaches, however for me NLP based Coaching involves:
“Helping people reveal their inner potential and put into action the emotional states, thinking patterns, beliefs and behaviours that will help them achieve their goals”
In practice each session has three elements. Firstly we agree the coaching topic and the evidence criteria - i.e. how we will know when we can stop coaching. Secondly I will use observation, questions, stories, exercises and wisdom to help you develop your own solutions. Finally you will commit to specific actions to take. For many people taking the time to define what you 'really' want and being accountable for what you say you will do are two of the most valuable parts of the process.
As a registered Coaching and NLP trainer and Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapist my work is, not surprisingly, strongly influenced by NLP (read more about NLP here). My work with business leaders and world class teams and competitors has brought many ideas into my coaching, from the personality therories of Carl Jung to the research based findings of psychologists like Carol Dweck and John Medina. I am also a stong advocate of strengths based coaching from the VIA Institute on Character and field of positive psychology and Happiness Coaching and Success Intelligence from Robert Holden PhD.
Some individuals like the coaching direction to emerge after we have agreed the initial goal and number of sessions. Other people and business prefer to sign up for a coaching programme designed to increase performance and help people achieve their potential. Whatever suits you, as long as we have a clear outcome in mind, either way is better!
A free copy of The Fulfilling Goals Workbook is included to support the coaching process and means the sessions are purposeful, effective and focused on you and your future goals.
A free copy of The High Performance Workbook is included to support the coaching process and means the sessions are purposeful, effective and focused on you and your future goals.
I
usually provide coaching for a set number of sessions. Three, six or eight
sessions is most usual with sessions about 2 to 4 weeks apart. There are
three options for the sessions:
I
have been involved in development and training for over 16 years working with
individuals and groups. I am a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching
Council, a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist and INLPTA Registered NLP, Coaching
and Business Communications Trainer. As a member of NLPtCA and EMCC I have
regular supervision and abide by their code of ethics and conduct.
Each session is confidential and an opportunity to have uninterrupted time to focus on yourself, your issues and what you want.
Personal Coaching is an investment in yourself and your future. I keep my fees for private clients deliberately low as follows:

When you are ready, please give me a call on 07899 856518 to discuss your situation and how explore how coaching can help you achieve your future goals. If I don't think I am the best person to help you then I'll suggest another coach - I only want to work with people who I can do my best work with. We can then arrange a first meeting and design a coaching programme that meets your particular needs.
