Performance Coaching

By working with a coach you can identify the invisible blocks that limit your performance and stop you reaching your potential. Performance coaching helps people identify and put into action the emotional states, thinking patterns, beliefs and behaviours that help them achieve their goals.

People come to coaching for many reasons. Sometimes they are referred by their employer, sometimes a set of coaching sessions is a gift from a friend and, most often, people come to coaching for support to achieve a particular outcome.

I provide coaching in two main areas:

For deeper issues or recurring patterns I provide confidential, supportive and effective counselling and psychotherapy.

Coaching Programmes

Some individuals like the coaching direction to emerge after we have agreed the initial goal and number of sessions. Other people and business prefer to sign up for a coaching programme designed to increase performance and help people achieve their potential. Whatever suits you, as long as we have a clear outcome in mind, either way is better!

The Fulfilling Goals Workbook is an excellent accompaniment to support the coaching process and means the sessions are purposeful, effective and focused on you and your future goals.

  1. Explore your end goal and ensure it is in alignment with identity and purpose
  2. Conduct a belief audit and shift limiting beliefs to empowering beliefs
  3. Create anchors for resourceful states to support performance
  4. Review and improve strategies for resilience and peak performance
  5. Practice relaxation and visualisation to model new or improved behaviours
  6. Refine your approach to celebrate successes and learn from setbacks

 

Coaching Format

Coaching WalksCoaching walks are a chance to combine a 1/2 day or longer in the fells with a thorough coaching conversation. I can guide you over suitable terrain that offers inspiring views and a break from the everyday that may include classic ridges and ascents or beautiful valleys and lakes.

I am a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist and INLPTA Registered NLP, Coaching and Business Communications Trainer. As a member of NLPtCA and EMCC I have regular supervision and abide by their code of ethics and conduct.

HOW MANY SESSIONS?

By investing in coaching you are committing to your future. Coaching often runs for a set number of sessions, typically between 3 and 6. The number of sessions required depends on the topics you want to address and how complex these may be.
